Lafayette (LA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc. received Grand Board Approval on August 10, 1986.  We assembled on October 18, 1986 in Acadiana Legal Service Building, at Lafayette, LA.  The chartered members are Kendall Banks, Louis Benjamin, Donald R. Cormier, Danny K. Cottonham, Alvin R. DeJean, Nathaniel Durant, Curtis Ellis, Daniel Favors, Jr., Carl J. Foulcard, Joseph C. Foulard, Jr., Robert Henderson, Dwayne M. Murray, Andrew A. Palmer, Edward H. Pollock, Harold Porter, Charles Randal, Van N. Ridgeway, Michael Tate, Marty L. White, and Joseph M. Walker.  The assembly was called to order at 4:30pm by Brother James Mitchell, Southwestern Province Polemarch.
